The Sierra and Bay Boards are united together in the decision of how we anticipate the remaining 2020 season. The following outline is what to expect for the remainder of the 2020 season:
- We will not have an end of year banquet to award class champions, Top 25, Ironman, or Club Champion.
- 2019 Club Champion and Top 25 riders who chose to run a Top 25 number can continue to run their top 25 number through the 2021 season. Class champions who run a red plate can continue to run a red plate through the 2021 season.
- We will continue to keep overall points updated.
- We will loosely keep track of advancement points but will not actively promote a Racer during the 2020 season. However, a racer can promote themselves as they see fit.
- Bay and Sierra chapters will collaborate on providing 3 to 4 race series. (Summer Series and/or Fall Series) This will be based on the number of races we can have and the availability of venues. We are not sure if the state will open PC or Hollister for Racing, so those venues will be TBD.
- The remaining season will be about fun, coming together, and riding motocross.
- The Bay and Sierra Chapters do want to provide a ride day for each of their clubs when tracks are available to allow unlimited number of entries for maximum participation.
Thank You all for your patience as we navigate how the state and local counties continue to update their restrictions to allow us to race and gather safely.
